4ForJoy
PILOT PROJECT
4ForJoy is a community initiative that brings together schools, students and local communities to support families experiencing financial hardship during the Christmas and winter holiday period.
Our pilot will work alongside one secondary school to co-design a student-led model that helps families while giving Sixth Form students meaningful leadership, volunteering and project management experience.
Students who take part will receive a Made Visible Changemaker Award, recognising the skills and contribution they've demonstrated; supporting CVs, UCAS applications, apprenticeships and future employment.
Following the pilot, we'll use what we've learned to create a practical framework that can be shared with schools across London, making it easier for more communities to deliver their own 4ForJoy projects, helping low-income families in need of extra support during the holidays.
Hidden Women
Hidden Women is a heritage project that explores the lives of women whose stories have been forgotten, erased or misunderstood throughout history.
Through research, storytelling and community heritage projects, Hidden Women aims to uncover overlooked histories and create greater understanding of the social conditions that shaped women's lives.
The first project will focus on a working-class maid in Victorian Richmond, who remained invisible until she committed a violent crime. Examining not only the events for which she became known, but also the wider social, economic and cultural context surrounding women in Victorian London.

A Quiet Corner is a free wellbeing project for parents, carers and individuals experiencing chronic stress, overwhelm and burnout.
The project will provide accessible resources including downloadable guides, practical tools and audio support designed to help people navigate periods of exhaustion and recovery.
A completely free resource to those struggling with burnout and chronic stress.
