Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Our Commitment
Made Visible CIC believes that information, opportunities and support should be accessible to everyone.
We are committed to making our website as accessible and inclusive as possible for all users, including disabled people, neurodivergent people, people experiencing mental or physical ill health, and those using assistive technologies.
Accessibility is not a one-off task but an ongoing process, and we are continually learning and improving.
What We Are Doing
We aim to:
· Use clear and straightforward language wherever possible
· Provide good colour contrast between text and backgrounds
· Use headings and page structures that support screen readers and assistive technology
· Ensure the website can be navigated using a keyboard
· Provide meaningful alternative text for images where appropriate
· Avoid unnecessary animations or content that may cause distraction
· Make resources available in accessible formats where possible
Known Limitations
Made Visible CIC is a small Community Interest Company and some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible. We are committed to improving accessibility as resources allow and welcome feedback from users.
Cookies and Accessibility
We want our website to be as easy to use as possible.
Many websites display large cookie banners or pop-ups before visitors can access the content. While these are common, they can create additional barriers for people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification software or other assistive technologies.
For this reason, Made Visible CIC aims to keep interruptions to a minimum wherever possible.
Our website is built using Squarespace, which uses essential cookies to help the website function correctly. At this time, Made Visible CIC does not use cookies for advertising or personalised marketing, and we aim to minimise the use of non-essential cookies wherever practical.
You can find more information in our Cookie Policy.
As Made Visible CIC grows, we will continue to review our approach to ensure it balances accessibility, privacy and our legal responsibilities.

We will do our best to provide information in a format that works for you.
Statement Review
This statement will be reviewed regularly as the website develops. Accessibility is an ongoing process. As a small Community Interest Company, we are continually reviewing our website and making improvements as our resources allow. Where we become aware of barriers, we will aim to address them as quickly as reasonably possible.
