From practical support for low-income families to preserving overlooked women's history, we develop projects that make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Our
Projects

4ForJoy

PILOT PROJECT

4ForJoy is a community initiative designed to reduce financial pressure on low-income families while celebrating the true spirit of giving during the Winter Holidays.

Our goal is simple: to make support easier to access and ensure no family feels left behind. Especially at an incredibly stressful time of year.

Not only does 4ForJoy aim to help those in need during the holidays, it also provides work experience, volunteering experience and CV credentials for the students who volunteer and project manage the school initiative.

Hidden Women

COMING SOON

Hidden Women is a heritage project that explores the lives of women whose stories have been forgotten, erased or misunderstood throughout history.

Through research, storytelling and community heritage projects, Hidden Women aims to uncover overlooked histories and create greater understanding of the social conditions that shaped women's lives.

The first project will be focus on a working-class maid in Victorian Richmond, who remained invisible until she committed a violent crime. Examining not only the events for which she became known, but also the wider social, economic and cultural context surrounding women in Victorian London.

Making People Visible

Research shows that financial struggles lead to poor mental health, chronic stress, overwhelm and decision fatigue.

This often leads to poor overall health, making it even harder to recover. A lot of cases develop into crisis. People in these positions are often overworked and overwhelmed. They are the opposite of lazy. They’re living in survival mode and need more support than they’re getting.

If this sounds like you and you need help, please look to our Resources - there may be support you’re eligible for but haven’t discovered yet. In addition to this, if you feel you have the capacity, please fill out the form below to let us know what you need help with most.

Whist we are not a Crisis Centre or Helpline, filling out the form will help us to provide more support in the future by responding directly to community needs.
