Our Commitment

Made Visible CIC is committed to creating safe, respectful and inclusive environments for everyone who engages with our work. We believe that all children, young people and adults have the right to be treated with dignity, respect and care.

Scope

This statement applies to:

·       Children and young people

·       Adults who may be vulnerable due to age, disability, illness or personal circumstances

·       Participants in our projects and activities

·       Volunteers, collaborators and partners working with Made Visible CIC

Our Approach

We aim to:

·       Promote the welfare and wellbeing of all participants

·       Take concerns seriously and respond appropriately

·       Work in ways that are inclusive and respectful

·       Reduce the risk of harm wherever possible

·       Follow relevant safeguarding laws and guidance

Reporting Concerns

If we become aware of information suggesting that a child, young person or vulnerable adult may be at risk of harm, we may need to share information with relevant authorities or safeguarding organisations.

Any safeguarding concerns will be handled sensitively and appropriately.
